Description of Episodes:

The Secret Life of Conch
The conch is our island’s largest fishery, and yet we know very little about them. Islander Shelley Edmundson aims to change that through her groundbreaking research that explores the hidden lives of conch with the goal of making the fishery sustainable for years to come.

When challenged with how to clear invasive bittersweet from difficult to reach Cedar Tree neck, director of Stewardship at Sheriff’s Meadow Kristen Fauteux decided that goats might be the answer. She partnered with Rebecca Gilbert and Randy Ben David from Native Earth Teaching farm and the result has been a fun and effective way to keep the invasives at bay.
